Three is the magic number

July 2016

We have successfully re-certified three of our external accreditations: Cyber Essentials, TickITplus and ISO 27001.

Continuous improvement is very much part of the Nexor approach to delivering our trusted information exchange solutions. By opening up the business to independent third-parties it allows external verification of our commitment to operational excellence. This means that Nexor customers can be ensured of the rigour and reliability in the solutions they buy.

Andrew Kays, Managing Director at Nexor, comments:

“Although we are an SME, we are frequently at the forefront of our sector in continuously improving our approach and service delivery. At Nexor, our philosophy is that ‘we do things properly’. To achieve this, we have developed a culture in the business where everyone buys into an approach that strives to deliver a top-quality experience to our customers”.

Trio of certification bodies

What these external accreditations mean for our customers

Cyber Essentials is a UK Government scheme for organisations to demonstrate that they have taken the necessary basic precautions to protect themselves against the risks of operating online. Nexor was in the very first round of organisations to be certified to the scheme in 2014.

TickITplus is a Software Quality Management certification scheme and Nexor retains its accreditation, which it has held since 2010 when it was the first organisation in the world to be accredited to the standard. For customers, TickITplus can be used as a measure of a supplier’s process capability and maturity to reduce risk.

ISO 27001 is the widely-recognised Information Security Management System certification, which Nexor has held since 2004. The certification helps organisations to identify risks and put controls in place to manage or reduce them, whilst also showing to stakeholders that their data is protected.
