DEVELOPING AN EMAIL GUARD FOR NATO

A Nexor Case Study

NATO needed an email guard that met their specific requirements, with the ability to manage the variations in its members’ systems. Nexor had the expertise to create one: Nexor Sentinel.

NATO needed an email guard that met their specific needs and could cope with the different message structures of the 28 individual member states. They also wanted to enable other organisations to connect securely.

The size and complexity of the organisation meant that NATO needed a guard it could trust, and could specify to its members without having to re-evaluate it for each individual scenario.

Fighter jets in the skyNexor rapidly responded to NATO’s specific requirements, meeting their strict criteria. Enhancements to an existing product both increased functionality and simplified configuration and led to the development of a new email guard, Nexor Sentinel.

The deployment of the solution means that high security messages can be sent with reassurance that human error is not going to result in inappropriate data leaving a secure system.

As an organisation that relies on the co-operation and collaboration of its member states, this enables NATO to focus on its primary objectives.

Since its creation, Nexor Sentinel has been adopted by individual NATO member nations in solutions Nexor has provided, as it is both trusted and users have prior experience of the product.
