NEXOR RECIEVES AWARD FOR SUPPORTING RESERVIST EMPLOYEES
December 2014
We have been awarded the UK Ministry of Defence’s Employer Recognition Scheme award for demonstrating our support to Reservist employees.
Reservists are men and women who give up their free time to train alongside regular (full-time) military forces and may be called on to serve the country in times of need at home or aboard.
Irene Dovey and Sean McCluskey from Nexor were recently in attendance to receive our Silver award at an awards ceremony.

John Wilson, Regional SaBRE (Supporting Britain’s Reservists and Employers) Campaign Director for the East Midlands, commented:
“The presentation event was a great success with many of those in attendance having the opportunity to speak to other employers about their experience of employing Reservists.”
As a business we have for many years supported staff as Reservists including participation on active service in military operations such as Afghanistan.
Irene Dovey, Head of Business Improvement at Nexor, commented:
“This award is recognition of our long-standing support to Reservists who play an important role in our national Defence and Intelligence capability. Our commitment is a reflection of the similar values that our company shares.”
As part of our comprehensive staff remuneration packages we offer paid training leave for Reservists and make suitable arrangements for re-integration of staff following longer term deployments. We also actively support the recruitment of ex-forces personnel. For further information about working for Nexor please see our Careers page.
