NEXOR LAUNCHES NEW CONSULTING ARM – QONEX

April 2015

In response to market demand for our expertise we are delighted to launch a new consulting division of Nexor, called Qonex.

Qonex helps organisations deploying the Internet of Things understand the cyber security aspects of technology innovation and to manage the associated risks. Steve Kingan, CEO of Nexor commented:

“Launching Qonex as the consulting arm of Nexor builds on the success of adding the CyberShield Secure services capability to Nexor. Our differentiated ability to provide integrated solutions, rather than just elements of the technology, has led to requests for advice and guidance beyond our core business in secure information exchange. “To address this demand Qonex will offer independent cyber security consultancy to enterprises who are building the Internet of Things; whilst Nexor will continue to focus on trustworthy solutions in the defence and security markets.”

Qonex is being led by Colin Robbins as its Managing Consultant. Colin remarks:

I’m really excited to have been given the opportunity to lead Qonex. The interest we have seen from companies working on the technology aspects of the Internet of Things has been very encouraging, with successful projects already delivered. “Our pedigree in complex, high assurance, defence systems gives us knowledge of tools, techniques and ‘trade craft‘ needed to make a real difference in customers trying to understand the procedural and technical complexities of delivering cyber-secure systems.”
