Nexor is a well-established supplier of solutions which mitigate the cyber threat in environments where high value information is exchanged between different network domains.
We have a portfolio of Secure Information Exchange solutions in active use throughout the Defence & Intelligence communities both in the UK and worldwide, as well as other enterprises within Government and the Critical National Infrastructure.
As part of this expansion we are looking for a Technical Consultant. This is an exciting opportunity which requires flexibility and a willingness to travel, potentially working away from home for the majority of the working week.
Prime responsibilities will include:
- Technical support to key customers;
- Design and implementation of a solution based on customer requirements;
- Problem verification and resolution;
- Helping the customer troubleshoot system failures;
- Working closely with Nexor staff, particularly support and engineering staff.
Candidates must be customer facing and able to demonstrate a methodical approach to problem solving and solution design. They must also be willing to learn in a challenging technical environment.
Technical skills will include:
- Networking – Essential;
- Linux (preferably RHEL) – Essential;
- Windows Server – Desirable.
Note: Training will be provided for any additional skill requirements.
The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills.
