Nexor contributes to IoT Security Foundation papers
December 2016
The Internet of Things Security Foundation (IoTSF) have released new papers looking at Internet of Things (IoT) security compliance and guidance. We contributed to the papers as part of being founding members of the IoT Security Foundation.
The foundation was established by several organisations to help secure the Internet of Things and promote knowledge and clear best practices for the industry.
The IoT security compliance framework provides the checklist to guide organisations through the IoT security assurance process.
The IoTSF Connected Consumer Products best practice guidelines are intended to be pragmatic and easily consumable for those with limited security knowledge and cover the most common issues, providing awareness and advice on the most salient elements that affect product, service and user security.
The Vulnerability Disclosure paper provides a guide on how to deal with vulnerabilities within your organisation and help preserve customer privacy and safety in the discovery of a vulnerability.
Each paper has a short introductory video that gives an overview of the paper.
Find out more and download these papers on the IoT Security Foundation website.
