Trusted Nexor products can now assure data transfers for space-limited networks.
Due to customer demand for smaller factor data diodes, Nexor has developed new slim form factor variants of its trusted Nexor GuarDiode and Nexor Data Diode Core products.
These slim line guards have been designed to operate in a far smaller rack footprint - 1 Vertical Unit (1VU) - saving two-thirds of the rack space compared with Nexor’s traditional Data Diode Core and GuarDiode variants. These options are still available for scenarios where an EAL7+ certified solution, higher data throughput, and increased processing power are required.
The slim form factor versions of Diode Core and GuarDiode both use the same 1VU rack unit, making it suitable for several new applications:
Portability for deployed scenarios, when using rack-fitted cases;
Additional security when space is limited, a data diode can be easily slotted into an available slot in an existing rack;
Faster and simpler install due to single box solution, whilst retaining necessary security;
Maintains data diode and guard security even when space and power are limited within rack environments.
“With the introduction of slim form factor variants of our products, we are enabling secure transfer of data into a more diverse range of scenarios and helping to protect our customers operating at the points where reliable & confidential information is needed.” Tim Thompson, MD Nexor Limited
