Skill set 

• Technical Acumen:  Possess a good technical understanding to effectively communicate and understand intricate technical details. 

• Organisational Skills:  Develop structured plans and execute them diligently, understanding that the role of Head of Business Development requires flexibility beyond typical office hours. 

• Personability:  Be personable and approachable, fostering strong internal and external relationships. 

  
  

Key Tasks and Responsibilities 

• Networking:  Leverage your strong network within the Defence sector, ideally with connections up to 1* and even 2* levels.  Expand Nexor’s reach by building relationships across related industries. 

• Customer Insight:  Deeply understand the challenges faced by customers at 2*, 1*, and B1 levels, ensuring Nexor’s solutions meet their strategic goals. 

• Value Messaging:  Craft compelling value and benefit messages that resonate with audiences, emphasising the unique strengths of Nexor’s offerings. 

• Service Understanding:  Grasp the nuances of services and how they integrate within a defence framework. 

• SME Familiarity:  Appreciate the dynamics of a small to medium enterprise, driving growth with agility and innovation. 

  
  

Additional Responsibilities 

• Represent Nexor at appropriate industry forums and events. 

• Provide input to marketing collateral. 

  
  

Constraints 

• May be required to work unsociable hours in order to resolve customer difficulties or to achieve project timescales.  This may be at short notice in exceptional circumstances. 

• May be required to work weekends or bank holidays.
