Security Labelling in Data Loss Prevention

This paper examines the capabilities that IT systems can bring to bear to ensure that information sharing is achieved in a controlled manner, consistent with the applicable security policy.

The required building blocks upon which such a system would be built are defined, and a vision of how future IT systems might operate is outlined.
