Nexor Defender for Outlook extends Microsoft’s Outlook (and Exchange) client to support government and military messaging. This allows high assurance messaging capabilities to be added to a standard off-the-shelf desktop product. Nexor Defender for Outlook provides users with future-proof functionality in the form of an extensible security architecture that allows alternative security libraries to be 'plugged-in' as required. A unique feature is that communities of users with different security libraries can work with each other.

Nexor Defender for Outlook includes an LDAP Directory interface that enables users to access global and local email addresses without needing to remember complex email address formats.
