Steve Kingan - Chief Executive Officer

Steve Kingan Joining Nexor as CEO in 1992, Steve has led the development of the company from research group to a market leader in the secure communications sector.

Elected a Chartered Director by the Institute of Directors in 2000, Steve is a member of the IoD Professional Standards Group and until recently acted as a non-executive director for the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills at Investors in People (UK) Ltd, a ministerial appointment.

Steve is personally active in the technology industry community as a member of the Intellect SME Council, Chair of the Intellect Security & Resilience Group and member of the Intellect Defence & Security Board as well as the UK Security & Resilience Industry Suppliers Council (RISC) of which he was a founder member.

 

Nigel Fasey - Finance Director and Company Secretary

Nigel Fasey Appointed in 2004, Nigel is a qualified Chartered Accountant specialising in business improvement. During his career, Nigel has worked as a consultant with SMEs from start ups to £50m turnover businesses in both the technology sector and other industries. He has firsthand experience of corporate finance and has worked with private investors, trade and venture capital organisations on a variety of mergers and acquisitions. Nigel currently has an interest in one other business, Datapath Ltd, which is a high growth hardware business. This diversity of experience helps him to benchmark best practice and performance.

 

Sarah Hinchliffe - Director of Sales and Marketing

Sarah Hinchliffe Sarah was appointed in 2002. She has a strong sales and marketing background in both the public and private sectors gained with large organisations including ICL and Ernst & Young, as well as SMEs including latterly as Director of Sales at Computer Task Group where she built the company revenues to the highest in the company history. Sarah is a Fellow of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management and plays an active role in the IT and Defence and Security communities including chairing the Intellect Supply Chain Working Group and Marketing and Sales Group, and sitting on the ADS Commercial and Legal Board and the ADS Small Companies’ Committee.

 

Colin Robbins – Chief Technology Officer

Colin Robbins Colin was an employee of Nexor’s throughout the 1990s, during which time he was instrumental in establishing Nexor’s reputation as a leading provider of messaging and directory systems. Since then Colin has worked at Siemens and Intercede managing teams specialising in delivery of identity management, network and data security. Colin rejoined Nexor in 2008 as member of the board to lead the technology strategy and has gained Chartered Director status from the IoD. Colin represents Nexor in cyber security forums such as Intellect, IACG and IAAC and is a full member of the Institute of Information Security Professionals. Outside work, Colin is a member of the Institute of Swimming.

 

Andrew Kays – Head of Operations

Andrew KaysAndrew joined Nexor in 2008 from EDS (now HP). Initially holding the post of Head of Research & Technology at Nexor, he was appointed Head of Operations in March 2011. Andrew has extensive experience in project management and secure solutions development across a number of industries including defence, logistics and finance. Andrew is a Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP).
