Nexor Directory

X.500 and LDAP directory for organisational use

Nexor Directory provides a central source of information for organisations in which sending and receiving messages is critical, the directory is integral to the infrastructure and a directory failure would cause a full system failure. Conforming to LDAP and X.500 directory standards, including ACP133, Nexor Directory provides the high performance needed to maintain service.

Key features:

  • The use of an object-oriented database ensures consistency, scalability and robustness.
  • Support of the Directory Information Shadowing Protocol (DISP) simplifies replication, facilitating scheduled updates and different replication models.
  • There are bulk import/export tools, supporting the LDAP Data Interchange Format (LDIF) and the Comma Separated Value (CSV) format.
  • Every significant operation is recorded in an audit log, which meets British, American and Canadian military requirements.

Nexor Directory Administrator is an administrative directory user agent (ADUA) based on Windows Explorer, which provides a familiar interface that enables connections to both X.500 and LDAP Directories using either DAP (Directory Access Protocol) or LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol). It allows directory information to be browsed and modified using a similar method as on a local file system.

Nexor Directory Administrator can establish DAP connections using strongly authenticated credentials.
